Pearl Art Therapy accepts therapy vouchers:

Asia Pacific Cultural Center

Who & What: People who identify as BIPOC and live in Pierce county (all ages) can qualify for up to 5 cost-sponsored art therapy sessions if you have a financial barrier, do not have insurance, or have used up all of your insurance benefits.

When & How: Fill out this form (available anytime) and request Katrina Van Strien from the drop down for art therapy

Oasis Youth Center

Who & What: Youth who identify as LGBTQ+ in Washington State and have barriers to paying for therapy can choose from a list of providers: Pearl Art Therapy is on the list! Oasis Youth Center is located in Tacoma, WA.

When & How: Whenever Oasis is open (usually Th-Sat 4pm–10pm), youth can go in-person and ask to fill out an intake for Oasis and also a Mental Health Voucher Program (MHVP) intake to apply for the program. Reach out to me or Oasis via email if you’d like help and getting there is an issue.

Lotus Therapy Fund

Who & What: Asian Americans (18+) living in Washington State can get 8 free sessions at Pearl Art Therapy through Lotus Therapy Fund

When & How: The fund opens once a quarter for about a week, so keep your eyes peeled! Subscribe to AMHC’s newsletter and/or AMHC’s Instagram to know when it opens.

Q1 application: Mid-December

Q2 application: Mid-March

Q3 application: Mid-June
